Amber Rose-tinted glasses at the Vintage Frames Company, Montreal
American model and eyewear fanatic Amber Rose took advantage of her recent trip to Montreal to pop into the Vintage Frames Company for a private eyewear consultation. Well, it would have been private, were it not for this quick video. Amber is pictured top with vintage eyewear aficionado Corey Shapiro, who runs the store and the Vintage Frames Shop, one of, if not the most, exciting vintage sunglass destinations online. Corey describes Amber as a sunglasses beast: "One of the only people I fit for frames where everything looks smashing!"
Can I skip the pedicure when I make it over there Corey?

Rock formation: Tom Herrington launches Rock Optika eyewear collection
EXCLUSIVE Tom Herrington owns the Optical Lounge in Hastings and as if running a supercool glasses boutique wasn't enough, he's now entered the battle to design the best glasses in the world.
And he's faring rather well. Here are the very first glasses from Rock Optika, a collection of 10 frames available in four stunning finishes, including the inspired punk tortoiseshell below, which introduces a little pink to the traditional acetate.
Designed in England and handmade in France, these frames a built to last. What's more, they're truly original.
Rock on Tommy!

Cutler and Gross: a night at the Museum
Cutler and Gross is a favourite of Eye Wear Glasses', making us weak at the knees whenever we find another fantastic frame. So imagine our reaction when we're lucky enough to have a sneak preview of The Museum, the new upstairs at its flagship store in Knightsbridge, London! The display above shows only a few of the 4,000 glasses in the room, which date all the way back to 1969. And you don't have to ask where the mirror is in the bespoke service room (left) where clients – by appointment only – can choose their amazing handmade frame.
Not available? Cutler and Gross will create it in its own factory in Italy. How's that for service? Patrons Sarah and Ron, below, know good service when they see it through their amazing glasses... and, below them, the return of some shaky EWG video...
